I am a wife and a mother of two teenagers and have been a teacher for 18 years. I am passionate about education, but think that the public school system needs a complete overhaul in order to give all children the learning opportunies they deserve. I am also very passionate about staying fit and healthy. I love running, biking, and swimming, and began triathlon training about four years ago. I am interested in all outdoor activities, especially those on the water.
